This Privacy Policy explains how Yiğit Yılmaz ("I", "me", or "my"), an independent developer based in Istanbul, Turkey, collects, uses, and shares information through mobile applications hosted via giltwind.com (the "App"). I am committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding data practices.

I collect information to provide a better experience for all users:

  • Information You Provide: Data entered during onboarding, such as your name, age, sex, and wellness preferences (e.g., mental health goals, affirmation categories).
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used and time spent.
  • Device Information: Platform (iOS/Android), operating system version, and app version.

3. Analytics & Microsoft Clarity

To improve the user experience and troubleshoot technical issues, I use Microsoft Clarity.

  • Behavioral Tracking: Microsoft Clarity captures how you use the App through session recordings and heatmaps.
  • Data Masking: Sensitive information (such as passwords or private inputs) is masked by default and is never visible to me.
  • Purpose: This data is used solely for analyzing app performance, fixing bugs, and optimizing design. By using the App, you agree that I and Microsoft can collect and use this data.

4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

To maximize your privacy, certain sensitive data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to any servers:

  • Custom affirmations or personal notes created by you.
  • Favorite items or "liked" content.
  • Local notification schedules and streak tracking.
  • This data remains on your device until you uninstall the App.

5. Third-Party Services

I may use the following third-party services that process data on my behalf:

  • Microsoft Clarity: For usage analytics and session recording.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For processing subscriptions and payments.
  • RevenueCat/Supabase: For subscription management and backend database needs.

6. Your Rights (KVKK & GDPR)

As I am based in Istanbul, Turkey, I comply with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Depending on your location, you have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data.

I implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
